I waited patiently for more than an hour for the sun to dip into the perfect position
I stumbled across this Venetian back street scenario, that had more the theatricality of a stage set, than a real location. Ironically there is beauty to be discovered in decay and how apt the name above the door!
Whilst researching locations for my 'Italian photography holiday courses', I parked my car in Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast, alongside some railings. As I got out and locked up, I peaked over the edge to this jaw dropping scene of an old ruined mill, within the gorge. You can see much more of Italy in my 'Italian Photo Courses' section...
I find it strange but satisfying, that beauty can somehow derive from decay
